PERSONAL INFORMATION/BACKGROUND:

Real estate is my second career; I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to work in such a fascinating field, and help my many wonderful clients sell and/or find a great home. Before becoming a Realtor®, I was a sales representative in the college textbook industry, mostly with McGraw-Hill Publishing Company.

My husband Bob and I have lived in the area for the past 25 years, moving here from Linden, MI. What a great place this has been to raise our family! We both grew up, went to college and have worked in different parts of the country-me in Ohio, Iowa and Georgia and Bob on the East Coast-and we simply love living here! Bob recently retired from General Motors, where he managed an engineering group for many years. We are excited to announce that Bob will be now also be working with me as part of Benedict Homes! Our oldest son is a graduate of the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor and is an analyst in the finance industry in Manhattan. Our youngest son recently graduated from Michigan Tech and is a computer engineer living in Rochester, MN. Our fluffy, lovable puppy Rosie keeps us all grounded and happy!

Giving back to my community has been an important part of my life. Over the years I've served in various roles within our church and have volunteered in many different capacities as our boys have grown-soccer coach and manager, PTA Board, etc. In my spare time I love to read, run, hang out with family and friends or play a quick round of golf with my husband. We've been taking tennis lessons through the Novi Sports Club; while I haven't improved much, it's been a lot of fun to try something new!
